I got into my room. It was gorgeous, the roof had the new screen version made by the company ‘ARQ’, our screen was connected to the ARQ satellite and on our roof I could see the earth slowly rotating and stars and when you swipe, you could see the milky way galaxy. ‘Hey, you must be Keiynan, my new roommate.’ A boy with a blonde hair said.

‘I’m Caspian Grey Orion but you can call me Caspian.’ He added.

‘Oh, hi I’m Keiynan.’ I replied.

‘Why don’t settle you settle down then we’ll talk.’ Caspian suggested.

‘Okay, Ben please warm up a bath for me according to my preference.’ I asked referring to the AI patron, Ben.

‘As you wish, Keiynan’ He replied.

I had my bath and had a good night rest. I was awoken in the morning by the doorbell.

‘Who is there?’ Caspian asked from his bed.

‘It’s Alex.’ Alex said through the mouthpiece on the door.

‘Ben, open the door.’ I asked the patron and the door was unlocked and then opened.

‘Come on, Keiynan. We have to go, we’ve a lot to see.’ Alex said.

‘Yo! Ben, I need a chair.’ Alex added and a chair came out from the floor.

I took my bath and put on a light blue hoodie and a pair of black trousers with a black and white sneakers and parted my silver hair so that it partly covered my light green eyes and we left. We went to the museum, the library, the arcade and so many other places.

This week was really fun and today will be my first day in class. ‘Come on Keiynan, we need to get to class.’ Caspian said getting out of bed.

‘Fine. I’m up. Ben, prepare my bath and clothes.’ I said.

‘Me too.’ Caspian added.

‘Today you’ll see the wonders of AAHS.’ Caspian said.

‘Well I’ve already seen most of the academy.’ I replied.

‘I meant the learning aspect, where science and technology is almost like magic. You’re with your laptop right?’ Caspian asked.

‘Yeah.’ I answered. ‘Now let’s get ready we have a long day ahead.’ Caspian said. ‘Sure thing.’ I replied.

We dressed up and left the dorm, went to the cafeteria and had breakfast, we entered the hallway and Caspian told me goodbye and entered his classroom and a hand held my shoulder and took me into my class. It was Alex.

‘Good morning students.’ A woman whom I presume is our teacher said.

‘Good morning Miss Idris.’ The entire class replied.

‘Well class we have a new student in our midst. Come out and tell us a little about yourself.’ She said pointing at me.

I stood up and went to the front of the class. I was nervous at first but I saw Alex smiling and gave me thumbs up.

‘Good morning everyone. My name is Keiynan Jaxon Slade. My family and I just moved here from London, England. We moved so that my dad could be closer to work. I think that’s all.’ I said.

‘That was splendid Keiynan. Welcome to the Elite class eight. I would be your form mistress, Miss Idris. Your seat is beside Victor Alozie.’ She said smiling.

‘I went and sat down beside Victor and grinned at me, I smiled back.

‘Well today class, we will be looking at The History of the New Eden and I want you all to go to the library and do some research.’ Miss Idris said.

‘It is a project and will be due on Thursday.’ She added.

The bell rang and I turned to talk to my new seatmate.

‘Hey, I’m Keiynan.’ I said

‘Yeah, I know, you did an introduction this morning in front of the entire class.’ Victor replied and chuckled. ‘In that case, I’m Victor’ He added.

‘Your last name’s strange, which country are you from?’ I asked.

‘I am Nigerian from Abia state to be precise and I am a proud Igbo kid.’ He said with his head raised high, literally.

‘That’s cool. It must have cost a lot to come here.’ I said inquisitively.

‘Nah! I am on a full funded scholarship. He added.

‘So you’re young, brilliant and black, that’s cool.’ I said smiling.

‘I guess I am.’ He said.

‘So are based on STEM or the Humanities?’ I asked.

‘STEM for life, bruh. I’m going into Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security. What about you?’ He asked.

‘I will enter into the amazing world of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.’ I replied.

‘That’s cool. Well we need to get to the library for the project.’ He said packing up.

‘Yeah, we should.’ I supported.

We arrived at the library. Of course it was not filled with physical books, it was a place that students came to read eBooks. It had an atmosphere that emits a frequency which opens up a human’s brain when reading, so you just grab all the information you need with ease. But we went to the hardcopy section, to look at history books and the visual section so we could get a little glimpse and we went back to our respective dorms.

I am sorry I didn’t publish this one on schedule. Come back on the 3rd of August for the nest inert. Love y’all 😍
